I got my surprise from Joe Joe Bear on Friday... I got out of work at 12 and headed back to my house, where Joe helped me pack for a night away. Then, off we were. We drove to 95, where we headed north, then off to 128, heading towards the North Shore (my favorite part of Massachusetts).

We finally stopped at Rockport, a quaint little beach town on the coast. He stopped at a Bed and Breakfast, where we checked in. We went up to our room (which was beautiful) and unloaded our stuff. Then, he suggested that we check out the town and the ocean. We drove through the town, and went to the ocean, to a secluded area. It was so beautiful.
Rockport, as you can probably tell from the name, is very rocky. We went to an area that was big slabs of rock, with the ocean slapping against it. We sat on a rock and chatted, cuddled and looked out at the beautiful ocean. After a few minutes, we stood up, and he pulled me close. We told each other how much we loved each other, each trying to one up the other. I love you. Well I love you more. Well I love you more plus 1. Well I love you more plus 19. Well, Joe won. I love you more and I will prove it. Then he got down on one knee. A little shocked, I exlaimed "What are you doing???" I thought he was slipping off the rock onto the ocean... Then I realized he was proposing. It took me a second...He told me how much he loves me, and how hes wanted to ma for a while . Then he took my hand, and said "Kelly will you marry me?" He took out the most beautiful ring, a platinum setting with a super sparkly, brilliant cut round diamond in it. Of course I said Yes! I love him more than anything on earth!!!!

The surprise wasn't over yet. We walked around the town for awhile. Joe had made dinner reservations at a nice little restaurant on the ocean. It was a dry town, so he brought an expensive Reisling for me and a Merlot for him to enjoy during dinner. I ordered lobster and he had lamb. Yummy!!! Then we went to a little cafe for dessert. We had a delicious chocolate mousse in a chocolate bowl.

Then we went back to the bed and breakfast and enjoyed a bottle of champagne to celebrate our engagement. It was such a perfect night!!! I am so excited to be Joe's fiance!!! I cannot wait to plan the wedding!!! He's the best guy in the whole wide world! Posted by Hello
