Happy birthday joey!! now you are just as old as me!!! i love you to peices and wish you the happiest birthday ever. I wish I could be with you all day smothering you with hugs and kisses and am so sad that I will be 5 states away. But play the video games that I bought u and think of me, and it will be like I am there. I love u bunches and bunches and bunches!! Happy birthday!!!

Ok, so I am officially 26. It doesnt feel as awful as I was expecting. My boss definately cheered me up a bit today when he said "Well, at least your old enough to drink now". Haha.

So lets see, Friday I went out withJoeJoe Bear, Betty and Pookie for Thai food. Yummy. Loves it. I am a huge fan of Thai, so I was so excitedthat everyone was up for it. Then we went out for dessert and coffee at Dolci. On the way back to Bettys house we witnessed a car accident. It was pretty scary. I was driving and we got to an intersection. The car in front of us flew through it, as another car flew through it from a different direction. Pow. They hit each other. Then the car coming from the other direction spun out and missed my car by inches. I mean literally like 3 or 4 inches. I was shaking. After that, we went to Bettys house (it happened on her street). I had to chill there for a while, because I was kind of freaked out. Eventually JoeJoe Bear and I went home and went to bed.
I woke up Saturday early. I still had not bought birthday presents for Joey or Betty. And Joe and I decided that we were exchanging presents on Saturday, because on my actual birthday he was supposed to leave to go back to NJ. So I needed to get presents. I left my house at 9 am and headed out. On the way to my shopping trip, I won a radio contest. That would excite most people, but I win them all the time. This time I won a 4 pack of tickets into the wfnx mardi gras party. if i go, I can win a trip to new orleans if i get the most beads. I want to go, but its a tuesday night until 1 am, and thats pretty late if i work on weds. I dunno, i still may go. after all, it is mardi gras. still, i am going to new orleans in may, soooo i dont really need to win another trip there. haha. though i would not complain if i did, i suppose.
well, i did my shopping. I got JoeJoeBear 3 video games and a movie. I have the worst time buying him presents. He doesnt want anything, and if he does, he buys it himself, or just doesnt tell me what he wants. its semi aggravating.
I went home and wrapped all the presents I purchased. Then we decided to go get lunch. we went to the lame mall that I dont much like. Limited was having a huge sale. I bought this wicked cute tweed suit for 20 dollars. Loves it! I need suits, so when they are that cheap, i cannot pass them up.. When we got home, we celebrated our bdays together by exchanging presents. I unwrapped mine first. there were 4. The first one was a plug. I was a little confused. the second one was a battery. also semi confused. present 3 was a tape. not an audio tape. a camcorder tape. hmmmm. the wheels in my mind were turning. why would he tease me like this!?!?!?!! Well, he wasnt!!! present number 4 was my camcorder. he wrapped the peices all seperate so i would have a bunch of presents to open!!! I am so so so so excited! I have already taken over an hour of video on it.
After our presents we went to bettys house, where we exchanged presents. pookie, martha stewart the second and kathryn the great all came over, along with bettys husband thomas and my darling joe joe bear. My peeps all got me awesome bday presents that i love very much. thanks guys!!!!!!
Well, off we went to the sole proprietor in worcester. mmmmm. I had sushi and crab cakes. it was soo sooo sooo good. and for dessert, i had a chocolate bag with kathryn the great. mmmmm. then off to two cousins with kristen met up with us! Yay! I was so happy to see her. i hardly ever see her so i was uber glad she came out. at two cousins, we drank some more, and played a game of beer pong. fun fun fun. me and martha stewart the second lost to joe joe bear and thomas. martha needs to choose a better partner for next time. i only got 1 ball in the whole time. After 2 cousins, we went to jd's. its a bit sketchy, but there is a great jukebox and you dont have to deal with the whole teeny bopper crowd/. it was a good choice. and we stayed there until they made us go home. Kristen brought me and joejoe bear home, which we greatly appreciated. i dont think it would have been wise for either of us to even think about driving. we were drunk to say the least!
Sunday was my official bday. we got up around noon and dragged ourselves to kps for breakfast. mmmm corned beed hash, hash browns and eggs. then home, where i had a bday party with my parents. i had my favorite cake ever, a chocolate whipped creme cake from mrs. macks bakery. yummmmmm. And my mom used trick candles that almost caused me to have an asthma attack blowing them out. But after about 28 tries, the candles all went out. And I ate up my cake. Then I got to open presents!!! my mom gave me some $ (I have been difficult, because there wasnt anything i could think of that i really wanted since i got everything i wanted a month ago for christmas, except my camcorder). On top of that, she got me the kangaroo sneakers I have been wanting for over a year. they are fabulous, hot pink and lime green. wicked wicked cute. loves it. Also, she got me a really cute sweater from AE and some kitty cat playing cards.
Joejoe bear decided not to go home so we went out shopping at newbury comics. Martha stewart the second had bought him a bday giftcard there which he greatly appreciated. so he went to spend it, cuz there are no newbies in nj. He got some weird cds. he has really ODDDD music taste, where he wont listen to anything played on the radio. so i really dont have any idea what he bought. he may have gotten a ben folds cd. i like ben folds, so i recognized that name. and the decemberists. not sure what else. I had a giftcard left over from xmas that my sister Jessie got me, so I bought the Killers cd. Loves it!! its really awesome. it sounds very 80s, almost like the cure, but good. I totally recommend it. much better than the pos good charlotte cd i wasted money on!!!!
Anyhow, after that, we went home and had dinner with my fam. Betty had invited us to see a movie with her but we just didnt make it. sorry betty, i really wanted to go. after dinner, joejoebear and I curled up and cuddled. it was so nice to have him around. we watched tv into the wee hours of the am, and then fell asleep. this morning we got up around 9 and he went back to the 856 (thats hip talk for the camden area of nj... i live in the 508). I bummed around this morning and watched starting over, which i am a big fan of and went into work around 2. I was supposed to go to court, but the court cancelled, so instead i headed into the office.
After work i went to Marshalls with my mom in search of big rubber boots. i am sick and tired of my soes drowning in slushy wet salty puddles in boston and cambridge. so i went to get boots to fix the problem. 4 stores later i found some. yay. so thats my big weekend. its all on video if u really wanna see. everything will be on video from now on. :) i love using my new camcorder!!!! Loves it!!! (in case u dont get the reference, nicole ritchie says it constantly on the simple life, along with "thats hot" and "hi sexy". I have adopted these as my new expressions. Loves it!!)

This week is my tv mecca!! I have been glued to the tube every single night. It started on monday. Lucy had her baby on 7th heaven. In the elevator. 7th heaven is te hokiest show, but I have been addicted since college when my roommate Jenna got me hooked. If she only knew that 5 years later I would still be glued to the tv every monday night to watch the Camdens. Tuesday night I went to Bettys house and we watched American Idol. I love American Idol. I dont really give a crap about most of the singers. They are ok (well, i take that back. I loved John Peter Lewis and John Stevens last season and voted for them religiously. But thats beside the point). I watch the show for Simon. I love SImon. He turns me on for some sick reason. I think it is the accent. The british accent just gets me every time. I asked JoeJoe Bear to say "That is ghastly" in a British accent, but he just wouldnt do it. So it looks like I need to just keep loving Simon. Wednesday, more American Idol. Then, the season premier of the Simple Life 3. Yes, I love Paris Hilton. I worship her in some weird strange way. I am so jealous of her; she looks like a Barbie and has more money than god. And has the intelligence of a worm. Go figure. My Wednesday got better and better. After the simple life, the premier of Newlyweds came on!! YAY!!! I love Jessica Simpson. And Nick is just such a perfect guy. They make me smile. Then, after Newlyweds was the premier of the Ashlee Simpson show. As a devoted 7th Heaven fan, i love Ashlee. I love her show. I love her album. And I think she is great. The poor girl, so what if she lip synced on Saturday Night Live. All singers do it. No one can dance and sing like they do in those shows. Get real. So Ashlee, don't worry about it. You rock. Today was the best yet. My favorite show since Dawsons Creek ended last year is the OC. I have not missed even a second of it since it premiered last summer. I bought it on DVD the week it came out. And this season is better than the first. So every thursday night, I am glued to the OC. And today was no exception!!! Is Marissa going to become a lesbian?!!?!?!?!? I just want Seth and Summer back together. She so wants him. And for Seth, there is no other girl on the planet. Ok, enough of my ranting about my love for tv. I really am an addict. I admit it. Thats why I need tivo tho!!!!!!

I haven't written much, but trust me, its probably for your own good. I have been a miserable crab! I think most of it is that I haven't seen Joe Joe Bear in almost 3 weeks. I was supposed to go to NJ last weekend, but because of the blizzard, I was trapped at home. The second reason would probably be the weather. I have been trapped in my house day in and day out. With my family. Who drives me insane. I love them, I really do. But I love them a lot more when I don't have to see them every day. Living withmy parents and disgusting brother (he is absolutely sick! He leaves back hair in my bath tub, doesn't flush the toilet, leaves his dirty stained underpants on the bathroom floor) is really taking its toll on me. And I guess my approaching birthday is kinda getting me down. 26 sounds so old to me. I act like I am still in high school. I still shop in Juniors departments. My favorite stores are Wet Seal, Bebe and Forever 21. How the heck can I be 26?!?! Thats old! So, rather than just bitch bitch bitch about how miserable I have been, I haven't really been writing. Hopefully soon the sun will come out, melt all the snow, and it will be spring. I only have to last until May without my baby. He graduates on May 20, and after that we move in together and I see him every single night and day. And it will be warm, and I can wear my cute summer clothes and I will not have to trudge through 4 feet of slushy snow going into work. If I just keep thinking like that I will get through it. So, if I don't write for a few days, its probably because I am miserable and sad and grumpy.

O, on a different note, I had a free taste of a starbucks yummy chocolate drink. It is the best thing ever. It taste like drinking a super rich chocolate mousse. MMM. Its called chialta or something weird with a c. Try it! its reaaal good.

Today was the day from hell. It started out ok, I had a deposition in Boston. I used my cell phone to call my sister and let her know where I parked my car. She left a bunch of stuff at home and is at school in Boston. I figured she could just take the stuff out of my car while I was at the deposition. Well, that was the last I saw of my phone. I walked to the t, and when I reached into my pocket, it was gone!!!!

Next I waited for the T. I parked by BU which is the green B line. I was being a good big sister, so my sister could get her stuff. ERRRRR. Just please note that the B line SUCKS!!!! I waited outside at the t stop for 45 minutes. Just note that before windsheild, the temperature was 1 degree this morning. And boston is one big huge wind tunnel. Two T's passed me. They were full. The drivers would not let anyone else on. I was not dressed for the weather. I had a skirt suit, nylons and dress shoes on. My body went numb! Finally I was so cold, I took a cab for 15 dollars to Kenmore so I could wait inside for the T.

I got off at Government Center at 10:20. I was supposed to be at the deposition at 10:00. Had the first or even the second T that passed me stopped, I would have been on time. At least I beat the client. He was 45 minutes late. The client is a whole other ball game.

Then I sat outside my sisters dorm, because she never got her stuff. Still didnt find my phone.

On the way home, I stopped at Cingular and bought a new cell phone, because I cannot live without mine. So, my number is the same and it works fine, but I have 8 numbers in it right now, and 5 of them are my family!!! So, if i am not calling you,that could be why!! I dont have ANYONE's phone numbers!!!

Now I am home. I was supposed to go to NJ tonite. :( I miss my Joe Joe Bear. But the dismal weather forecast has killed my plans. I miss him soooo much. I didnt see him last week, and I was going to get to see him this week. Damn weather. It really sucks living so far from him.

Anyhow, I am sad and my day sucked! But if you want me to ever know your phone number again, call me and give it to me or email it to me! Or else you will be unintentionally blackballed!!!!

I went to the gym today! I am so proud of myself. I am a lazy sloth, so it is a big step to get my butt to the gym. Today I walked almost 4 miles on the treadmill. I couldn't do anything more cardio intense, because my lungs are still a bit weak from being sick. But I will work up to it. Betty agreed to go with me tomorrow, so I will keep you posted on how well I actually go going to the gym!

It just kind of hit me that my Birthday is in 2 weeks (Jan. 30!!!). Eeeeek! I am gonna be 26, which sounds so old to me. Its also Liz's bday (we are exactly the same age) and my friend Heather's bday, who is a few years older than me and liz. And JoeJoe Bears is 2 days after mine, on Feb. 1. So I am a whole 2 days older!!!! It should be a fun weekend. I think a bunch of us are gonna go out on Saturday night to celebrate me and liz getting old ( I am pretty sure that 26 is the butt end of mid twenties..... after that its LATE TWENTIES!!!!! EWWWW!) If you feel like coming out for a yummy dinner and drinks, lemme know (though I know most of my friends that read this are in different parts of the country..... but hey, maybe u could get a cheap flight!!!!!!!) And if anyone wants to buy me bday presents (hahahahaha) I want Best Buy gift cards!!!!! Lots and lots of best buy gift cards. I want to buy a camcorder, and I am never gonna set aside enough money to buy it!!!! :)

Its Sunday night, and of course, it is snowing again. YUCK!!! I have to go into work tomorrow to prepare someone for a deposition, so despite the holiday, I do not get to sleep in. Instead, I have to drive to Boston in the yucky snow!!!! I don't even really mind driving in the snow. The worst part is walking from my car into the building. In Cambridge, there develops lots of dirty, messy slush allllll over the ground!! EWWWWWWWW. And most of my suits are skirt suits, so my poor legs freeze and my nylons get all stains by the dirty slush. YUCKY. I can't wait until winter is over. I miss NJ weather. It did snow there, but only about 3 or 4 times a winter. Not like here. Here it is every day. 5-6 times a week. I miss the sun. I have been so sad and grumpy, and I swear it is because I have not seen even a glimpse of sunlight since I left Texas. It make me seriously think about moving there someday.

I looked at apartments today online. They are so expensive. It wouldn't be so bad if I knew JoeJoeBear would have a job this summer, but he is going to be studying for the bar. And working while you study is not a good idea. And god knows when he will actually get hired, which means I will have to pay for everything myself. And we really want to live close to Boston. I hate Grafton. It is miserable. I miss actually living near things, being able to walk someone, having something going on a Tuesday night. Here, Burger King closes by 8. The main restaurant is Dunkin Donuts. And there is no where ( and I mean no where) to go, unless you want to hang out with 45 year old alcoholic Townies. No thanks.

I left thursday after work and went to NJ for the weekend to see Joe Joe Bear. It was so nice and relaxing. It was really nice to be in his house, with NO PARENTS around!!! Living at home is killing me. Every day, I swear it gets worse and my family annoys me more and more. Being down in NJ with Joe Joe Bear was just so nice!!!!!!

Friday we started out by going to lunch at Mikado (a yummy Japanese restaurant) with Salena and Shawn. Then we went to the law school and bought Joe Joe Bear's books for the spring semester (he starts school tomorrow!!!!). After book buying, off to the mall we went! We went to go to the pet store, to visit with the kittens, and much to our dismay, the pet store closed!!!!! I was sad, but we walked around the mall for a while anyway. After the mall we went back to JoeJoe Bear's house, and chilled for awhile. Eventually we went out to dinner at applebees with Salena and Shawn. It was yummy!!!!! i love applebees. Then salena and shawn abandoned us, so we went and rented troy, and I drooled over brad pitt!!!! That movie really kicked some ass!!!!

Saturday we slept waaaaaay in! I think it was 2 o'clock when we finally dragged ourselves out of bed. I am still a bit sick, so I think my body really needed the extra rest to recharge. We eventually got dressed and went shopping at Target. We ended up getting dinner eventually at Number one chinese food, which really lives up to the name!!! mmmmmmmmmm. We also bought some marshmallows and firewood. So we lit a fire at JoeJoe Bears house. And Salena came over and we toasted marshmallows. I made a sticky mess, but it was fun. Then we drank a bit and played Disney Scene IT. Sadly enough, the only way to beat Salena (who is a Disney freak) was to pair me, JoeJoe Bear and Shawn all against Salena. But, we did it!!!! we won 2 out of the 3 games. On the last one, we lost by a hair!!!!!

Today we slept in again, got up and had left over chinese food for lunch, then I had to drive home. It was really hard leaving Joe Joe Bear today. It hasnt been so bad lately, becase he studied for finals at my house, and we spent a whole week together in Texas and then I went to visit him for a long weekend. But this semester is going to be hard,... He is on a trial twam, where he has class on Saturdays, so he is rarely if ever going to be able to come see me. Which means I see him at most every other week. :( I really cannot wait for may, when he will be out of school and we can move in together. This year is really kicking my butt!!!

Happy New Year! Sorry that I haven't really been writing lately. The last week and I half I have an excuse, I swear!!!!!
I had a really nice Christmas. We had tons and tons of people at my house, my entire fam, plus my half-sister's bf and my other half sister's best friend, as well as my mom's friend and her kids. I got lots of presents!!! Yayayay!!!! After Christmas, I went to SanAntonio, TX (actually Pearsall, but I don't think its on a map!!!!) to visit Joe Joe Bear's family. I had a blast. It was 75 degrees every single day!!!! His family is wicked nice. They made me feel right at home. The first night there, I went to see the San Antonio Spurs. It was my very first basketball game (well pro at least). I loved it!! Joe Joe Bear is the biggest Spurs fan, and living in NJ, he doesnt really get to see them except during playoffs because they are never on tv up here.
While there, we also went to the River Walk, which is sooooo pretty. Its this river that runs through downtown SanAntonio, and during Christmas, all the trees and bridges are covered in Christmas lights. There are restaurants and shops all along it. soooo neat!!!!!
I ate a lot more than I should have. LOL. The food there is amazing. I ate mexican food and barbeque for almost every meal!!!!! I think I may have gained like 10 pounds! MMMM. Also, I love love love Sonic and for some reason, the closest one is in Ohio. Just a bit of a drive for me. SO I got to eat sonic too.
New Years Eve we went out for dinner in SanAntonio (for Mexican Food) then went back to JoeJoe Bears house and lit fire works. Lighting them is sooooo fun! I missed out on all the cool stuff growing up in MA!!!
On the downside, we allllll got sick. So we did take it easy, hung out a Joes house for a day or two, played with the cats, ate, and watched football.
I really had an awesome time!!!!! Hope everyone else had an awesome New Years tooo!!!
