well, last night was the last oc until november. so sad. i wanna see whats gonna happen to seth and summer, if that creepy headmaster gets that be-otch knocked up and how julie cooper will pull her self out of this one. but alas, its that time of year again. baseball playoffs. and while i want to scream bc my oc won't be on for a whole month, and the season is getting so damn good! errrr.
but i can't be too angry. i love playoff baseball. tho i don't wanna be too content yet. i mean, this weekend decides it all. do the redsox move forward, or the damn yankees. and if there are no redsox in the playoffs, i will just have general contempt for playoff baseball this year as opposed to general excitement. sooooo, i dont know. to i cheer that its that most exciting time of year here in boston, or do i lament over my loss of the oc for an entire month?

every time i turn the tv or radio on, i hear the banter going on and on about kate moss. i dunno. it doesnt really surprise me. i mean, the woman is like 90 pounds, has sunken in eyes and cheeks, and looks like shes perpetually hungover. omg, a supermodel does coke. what an effing surprise. how the eff do you think they stay under 100 pounds. they don't eat, and they do lots of coke. no big surprise. so whats the deal with all the big companies pulling out of contracts with kate moss. i mean, seriously. look at her. shes horribly anorexic, and she looks like she just crawled out of a 3 day alcohol binge. thats not attractive. they hired her for that nasty sick look. and to get that nasty sick look, she needs to harm her body by doing illegal drugs. i dunno. i think if the fashion industry insists on perpetuating the pathetic image that women are supposed to look like 10 year old boys that have been starved for like 5 years straight, then they should be prepared to deal with bad publicity that their top models are coke out freaks. and no offense, but its not like super models are known for their brillance or class. they are known for being sickly looking waifs that could use a cheeseburger or a pizza. and if you think gizele is honest about wolfing cheeseburgers down and being able to fit in her size xs undies for vickys secret, you have another thing coming. quit the farse and promote a healthy body image to america. women dont need to look sick with ribs poking out to be effing sexy. and i am sick of it.

i love messiness. i love having things around me, in no particular order, with no rhyme or reason. i am not neat. i have never been neat. i will never be neat. i am tired of people trying to change me. my parents have attacked me for years bc of my messiness, i've heard it from friends, roommates, and now joe. i can't handle it. i dont want to change. i am a slob, and i am quite content being a slob. so stop trying to fix me. it just upsets me, because i am more than content being who i am, and i dont need anyone to change me.

1. Why are the media so intrusive? Do you think a boycott of tv news would help? (Thanks Janet!) The media are so intrusive bc they feel that they have to be. its so competitive to get the story fast, and make it interesting. so they press buttons to get the interesting true. its mostly just fluffed up for the ratings..... a boycott prolly would just make them try harder to get the ratings

2. What is your favorite restaurant and why? (Thanks Krista!) Chick Fil-a. i love it, its soooo good. chickn nuggests, lemon pie, sweet tea and a stuffed cow all for under 10 bucks :)

4. What are your standards and rules for tipping? (Thanks Krista!) it really depends. If i get good service at least 20 %. if it sucks, it depends how bad the service sucked and if it seemed like the person actually tried to be a good server or if they thought they screwed up and abandoned any hope of giving me good service. if they tried, i will usually tip them decent anyway. if they sucked and didnt try, i tend not to try to give them a very good tip.

5. Do you usually order an appetizer and/or dessert? (Thanks Krista!) lol. my friends all make fun of me bc i usually order dessert as an appetizer. :) and a meal.

6. What do you usually order to drink at a restaurant? (Thanks Krista!) water with lime. i dont really like drinking soda. if i get a drink drink, its usually a cosmo, margarita or some foo foo girly drink

hey there. i no i havent been bloggin much at all. i really have so much to say, and no way to say it. i have hundreds of entries sitting in my head. but i can't write em. i can't put them down on paper for the world to read. lately i have been very closed to the world. i have so much going on in my head, and i don't really want to tell it to the world. or the 5 people that read this. i dunno. i am really confused, really upset. really not together. i dont know what is going on with me. my perfect life that exists in the bubble of happiness is melting down around me. i am sad all the time, upset, angry, disappointed. and i dont know how to fix it. my fairy tale doesnt seem to have its happily ever after ending that its supposed to and i don't really no what to do about it. :(

so i have had my vw bug all of 2 weeks. and last week, as i am driving down the pike, something hard it my windshield and cracked it!! eeek!! my poor baby. so i called the insurance, and i have glass coverage, so they set it all up for me. so the glass man cme to my work this am, and is fixing my lil baby outside. they asked me "can u leave the keys in the ignition and the door unlocked??" umm NO! i have had it for 2 weeks and still owe a gazillion dollars on it!! are u kidding??? so i met him with the valet key when he called me this am. hopefully they do a good job on my baby. i love it to peices!!!!!!!

this month has been one for the history books. damn is all i can say. first new orleans. then judge renquist dies. err bush appointing a supreme court justice. can u say bye bye civil liberties? gas prices way over $3.00 A GALLON. fuck. Massachusetts shot down the bill to ban gay marriage. thank fucking god. if the most liberal state ever was as back ass as the rest of this fucking country, i would have to say i would be thouroughly disappointed. i am sad with the way everything is right now. i listen to the news and i cringe. i turn on the oc, forget to shut off the tv, and the image of bush is on, haunted by a desolate new orleans. i just dont no what to think. y isnt it all cleaned up? why are that many people dead? dont we live in the wealthiest country in the world? dont we send billions and billions of dollars to other countries to secure our oil? then why the fuck can't we help our own people. why are there people still in new orleans that havent been evacuated? i am just totally in a what the fuck kind of state. the worst thing i heard. 4 rats carrying the black deah escaped from a research lab in nj. yeh, they are roaming around with the bubonic plague. awesome huh? the fbi apparently is out searching for these 4 little vermine. y, in a time when we fear germ warfare do we have animals with the very worst and communicable diseases hanging out in research labs in the northeast. i mean seriously. stick the lab in the dessert in arizona. that way if they escape they arent endaangering the most populated area of our country. what if one of those fucking vermine send fleas into other ratsw that run into nyc??? then we have a huge outbreak of the black death. hmm, sweeet. sorry, i am pessimistic today and just overall discouraged.

ok, so i did it. i bought my aqua michael kors bag. and got a FANTASTIC price. the bag is 300 and i paid 150. not to shabby. and its so cute and coool and wonderful. so what if its the thirs purse i have bought in a weeks time. i got the cutest bag in rockport last weekend, and a lucky brand bag on thursday. and now a michael kors. i think i need an intervention, or a meeting or something! i seriously havr a disease!!

i love pets.... currently, i have 2 crazy kitties, piglet and abby. they ar the true loves of my life. piggie is a fat moose of a cat. abby is a scrawny siamese. they fight alll the time. piggie plays fetch and soccer. abby just screams a LOT. trot nixon is the puppy. hes actually my lil bros puppy that i got for him. he lovesw me second to my lil bro. hes a tiny lil doggie and the cutest one ever. hmmm. i had 2 igunas. malakai and isssak, but they are both deceased. they weregreat pets for lizards....... we had a mean dog casey while i was growing up. i hated him. i had kittens when i was lil. my dad found one and brought it home for me. it died 2 days later. i was sad. the other my mom got me as the replacement. when she found out it wasnt docile like the half dead kitten, she gave it bck. i had fish that i won at a carnival. they died after 10 hours. :( i had a fish in college that died aftr a week. i think thats it for pets!!

wow. i have been waiting some time for tonite, and it didnt disaapoint. so i ended up out at 8, so i had to tivo BOTH of my shows. i decided to watch big brother first. HOLLA!!!!!!! it kicked so much ass tonite/. go janey. i fucking hate the three members of the nerd herd left. they are infinitely wretched and they dive me crazy. the best part tonite was when ivettes gf was saying how much she likes janey. yay. and how queer she thought cappy was. i have hated cappy since day 1, so i was elated to hearr that.
then, i watched the show i have waiting, longed for for, been up at night WONDERING.... what will happen to Tray?!!?!?!!?!?! The OC season premiered tonite. YAYAYAYAY. i have been super addicted, not missed even 1 episode since the show premiered 2 years ago. its my fav. i watch each episode allll weeek long waiting for a new one. i watch the dvds over and over. so its about time the new season started. not a moment too soon. kirsten looks pretty haggard. summer made me smile just as she always does, and marissa wasnt as annoying today as usual. it started the season off great (I wont ruin iut for all of you who tivoed it), and I CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT THURS!!!! Yay!!!!!

i put my name in a drawing for half.com, for tickets to a bunch of shows in boston. i knew i couldnt go when i entered. but what the heck. who wins those things anyhow? apparently i do. so now, i have 2 dashboard confessional tickets for a concert friday, that i oh so badly want to attend, but cannot because i have prior engagements, and its something that i can't just skip. alas, i will not be seeing dashboard. but my extreme contest luck was not used in vain. dashboard is my sisters absolute favorite, and when i called to tell her she (through my extreme luck and talent at winnin random contests) would be going to an acoustic special solo performance by dashboard, she was practically in tears. she already has found someone to go with her. it took her 4 seconds. well, if i cant go, at least i am giving the tix to someone who will appreciate them even more than i would have!

so, its already tuesday, and my nice long 4 day weekend has come and gone. it was nice, to say the least. i didnt have a very eventful weekend, but it was relaxing....
friday~~ I got my new car!!! i was so so excited. its so sweet. so most of my weekend was spent driving around with the top down. i love it. i ended up at the mall for a bit, and had some sushi at night. it was an ok friday.
sat~~ hmmmm.... i dont remember most of the day. at night, joe and I took my parents out for dinner to say thank you for all the help they have given me over the last month, lending me a car, and giving me some of the insurance money to cover my down payment. we took them to scales, a seafood restaurant in milbury. mmm fried clams for me and joe, fish and chips for my mom, scallops and shrimp for my daddy. it was a great meal. and my parents got to enjoy some fresh air with my top down. :)
sun~~ joe had a few errands to do. then, we drove up to rockport, and wandered around looking in the shops. we ended up buying some fudge, that is SOOO YUMMY. and I got this ADORABLE new bag. i will post a pic. its so cute! i love rockport. we had a blast there.
Monday~~ my mom decided ot have a cookout. she only invited me and joe. lol. whatever. we ate yummy food, sat outside by the pool, enjoyed the sun. it was fun. we got home and exercised. i have been slacking the last few weeks, so i am trying to push myself bvack into the exercise. i dont wanna get flabby for the winter!!!
now its tuesday, my week has begun!!! only a few weeks til columbus day!!

1. How has Katrina affected you? well... it hasn't directly affected me, other than my wallet by driving up gas prices. but, New Orleans is one of my favorite places on earth. i was there for memorial day weekend. its now labor day weekend, and the whole city is in ruins. its weird, because it is one of those places i thought would always be there. i was actually thinking about planning a trip there soon.... seeeing the people there upsets me. they are great people, warm and frieldly. they didnt deserve this. i am upset with our country, with our leader and our government. it is really effed that this country can supply aid to otehr countries within hours of a distarter, that we can spend billions of dollars on a war we don't belong in, and that the releif for a tsunami in southeast asia began immediately, but when something happens in our own country, it takes nearly 5 days for supplies to be deployed and people are still trapped in disgusting conditions. it really upsets me that our leaders care that little to help our people. and i wonder. i winder if this is racially based, that new orleans has gotten so little aid over the past week because the makeup of the city is primarily creole, and black. and it disgusts me. that more has not been done by our government to help those people.

2. What is your favorite charity? Do you contribute to it, or any other, when a disaster the magnitude of Hurricane Katrina happens? hmmm, well the jimmy fund is a good one. I try to give to ones that will help people in general, for cancer or aids research. or to save animals. givign to shelters or save the whales. when something like katrina happens, i try to give, if i can, or i find a way that i can give my time (if i can't afford the money) to give to the cause.

3. What do you want more or less of in life so that you can enjoy life? (money doesn't count) i am pretty content. i enjoy each and every day. i can't imagine anything else that would make my life much better.

4. It's a rainy Sunday. What do you do with your day? put on rAin boots and splash around in the puddles. then call my girlies and go shopping. come home, curl up on the coach with some tea and a blanket and watch tv

5. Jimbo is almost agreeable to adopting two cats. What should we name them? awwwww. thats really a hard question without seeing the cats first. u have to name them based on their personalities!!!

6. What was for dinner last night? sushi at the Sole. I had firecrackers and california rolls

7. What are your plans for the weekend? i took my parents out for dinner tonite. i am enjoying my car. ilove it. driving around with the top down everywhere.

8. What was the last thing you "splurged" on? (Thanks Liz!) my car, a brand new beetle convertible

9. Guilty pleasure at the moment? (Thanks Krista!) hmmmm. jello pudding pops. i love them, and they make me happy!

its friday am. i dont have to work until tuesday!! yay!!! so why am i up at 8??? wellllll. my beetle will be ready for pickup after 10 today, and i am so so so excited. i can't wait. a brand new car!!!! yayayayayay!!! so today, i think we make drive around a lil with the top down and the wind in our hair. :) i need to enjoy the weather for the next week or so, before winter sets in. i am only half being sarcastic. hopefully we have a warm september, so i can enjoy my car at least a lil before it gets cold. i do have heated seats so if it gets toooo cold, welll my bum will be warm at least. :)
sooo i will have a really fun labor day weekend. i hope!!!
