I found out some pretty awful news tonite. My dad's friend, who worked for my family's business, is really sick. Apparently, he has diabetes, and did not know about it. He has been sick with the flu, and drinking extra fluids to make himself feel better. His 9 year old son found him this morning, close to dead. He was brought to the hospital and is on life support, but the possibility of him pulling through is pretty bleak. Even worse, his son's mom died years ago. He has little or no family. Apparently, he has grandparents in Florida, but no one can find info to contact them. DYS is already involved. My parents are thinking about taking him in if they can. So please, keep them in your thoughts... I feel really horrible for the poor child. Even if his dad pulls through, he has a pretty rough road ahead.... Posted by Hello
