today sucked. i had to get up at 5:45 to catch the commuter rail at 6:50 (so i had to leave my house at 6:30 at the latest). I took the commuter rail to Beantown, where i had to walk to court, in the bitter cold. when i get to court, there is a line. there is always a line, and it wraps around the building. I got there at like 8:20 and I did not get in until about 8:45. it sucked. I was frozen. So i go to where I needed to go. I was the only one in the room. every one else was stuck in the line. there has got to be a better way for people to get into a building. so i sit there and wait. not only are all the other attorneys late, but the judge is late as well. by the time the judge gets there, my opposing counsel had to do something else. so i got stuck waiting until 10:10 to finally meet with the judge. I had a deposition I was supposed to attend at 10. ERRRRR! I hate being late, especially when it makes me look bad and its not my fault. So I finally get out of court around 10:30 and had to take a cab to the deposition, costing me like 20 dollars. I finally get to the deposition and the other lawyer is pissed because I am so late, and acts like a complete c**t the entire time. ERRRRRRRR. Well, I ended up working straight through till like 5:30 without taking a lunch. then I had to go to south station and catch a 6:10 train back to gtown. the train sucks. its so slow. its crowded. its cold. i hate it. i never take it unless i have to go to court in beantown. So I finally got home around 7:40. I left my house at 6:30. it sucked. So i fed my cat and climbed into bed and watched idol. then i finally wished my baby a happy birthday. now, i am completely fried and getting ready for bed. at least i can drive to work tomorrow. hopefully it goes a lot better.
