I went to NJ this weekend to celebrate with my JoeJoe Bear!! We had a wonderful weekend. On Friday I got out of work a little early so I got a head start driving down. I got to Joes around 9ish. We ordered Dominos and had a nice dinner, then drank some champangne and cuddled. We enjoyed just being together. It was so nice. When we woke up Saturday morning, I went to Joe's class with him. He is on the Advanced Trial Team at Rutgers, and they have been practicing on Saturdays. His competition is a week from this Friday, in Rhode Island. If they lose, he's free, and I get to see my fiance on a much more regular basis. If they win, I'll strangle him. Basically, if they win, they go down to FL in March for the national competition. I really don't want him to win. I know thats terrible, but I really miss him! SO, we stayed at his practice from 11-5. LOOOOOONG TRIAL. I played a juror. I was going to video tape it ( I am video crazy since getting my camcorder for my bday) but the AV guy showed up. (they changed the time, so they didnt think the AV guy was going to make it.)

Once that was done, we went to Depford to Circuit City, Best Buy and the mall. We needed to go to Circuit CIty to buy Joe speakers for his computer, which was his VDAY gift from me. Let me say I HATE Circuit City. They are rude, unhelpful and the service sucks. I went trying to spend 150 on speakers for my fiance, and the incompetent staff would not help me. So we left and I bought him better speakers at Best Buy, where the staff is competent, and actually likes to help their customers. Then to the mall (that was my idea). Its really sad but I only wanted to go to Depford to go to Gertrude Hawk, which is the chocolate store I worked at during law school. there used to be one in cherry hill, which is where i worked, but it closed. so, we went to depford, which is much further from joes house and the mall isnt half as good. but, i got my chocolate. I bought my mom smidgens and joe smidgens for vday, and i also bought myself a box. Joejoe bear had not bought me chocolate for vday (OMG!!!), so I showed him the box I wanted and he bought it for me. I LOVE Gertrude hawk. if you like chocolate, you can order off the website, and it is fantastic. the Url is www.gertrudehawkchocolates.com . I think the bunny smidgens might be out now for easter. the dark chocolate coconut custard or the raspberry smidgens are the best.
After the mall, we had part one of our super vday extravaganza. he took me out to dinner at macaroni grill, which was uber yummy. we both got the penne rustico. mmmm. my tummy growls just thinking of how yummy it is. after we went back to joejoebears house with some champange and cuddled and enjoyed each others company.
Sunday we got up and went to cherry hill mall. i love cherry hill mall. Joe joe bear bought this really hot calvin klein suit, which is his bday present from his parents. he looks damn good in it. I did good, not buying ANYTHING!! we did end up having lunch at coldstone creamery. I ordered banana ice cream with chocolate syrup and chocolate chips in it. Quite good. Joe ordered this coffee heathbar ice cream. we both like them, so we just kind of shared both. mmmm. we went home after the mall, and hung out at JoeJoe Bear's house for a bit. There, we exchanged presents. I bought JoeJoeBear the speakers he wanted and some cds. He bought me chocolate (mmmmm) and the coach bag i wanted, the white one with the multicolored spots on it. I love it!!!!
Around 5:30 we headed out for our second VDAY dinner. mmmm. my turn to take out JoeJoe Bear so I took him to PF changs. We had some super yummy food, along with the WORST service I have ever had!! I think the waitress messed up a few times early on, and figured she wouldnt get a tip, so she said screw it. We finished eating and it was 20 minutes before she came over and asked if we were all set. then it took another half hour before we got our food boxed and got our check. it was pretty irritating. Had she tried to be attentive towards the end even a little, we would not have cared that she messed up a little. but she was just plain rude to us. owell, the food was really good and i got to spend extra time gazing across the table at my joey.
We went home from dinenr, and my friend Salena was at JoeJoe Bears house. We made chocolate covered strawberries and marshmallows and indulged in the yummy desserts along with some champange. mmmm. salena went to bed at like 12, because she had to work today, so me and joe went to his room and enjoyed the alone time together.
This morning we woke up around 10 and stayed in bed till 12ish. it was so nice, just cuddling each other. My boss gave me today off, which was much appreciated, because I actually got to see my baby on Vday. We just cuddled and acted silly till 2ish, when he had to go to class and I had to leave to come home. One last surprise though. Salena helped me set up JoeJoeBEar to get a pink rose at school. :) I think he liked it. It was a perfect Vday. I love my Joey so so so so much. He is the bestest guy ever and it was so nice to spend so much time together. I really treasure every second we get to spend together!
