JoeJoeBear and I wanted to try a new Mexican place that was closer to my house. BAD IDEA!! With Mexican, if you have a place you like, stick with it. We really like the Acapulco, in Framingham, which we should have gone to. Instead, we tried Tortilla Sam's in Worcester. I remember going there in HS and college after plays and such and it was always good. Turns out it used to be the Acapulco. lol. I guess I should have figured it wasnt really the same restaurant. Well, Tortilla Sams is TRENDY Mexican food. I thought it was disgusting. Joe got black beans instead of refried, there were all tofu choices, and the food was just unappetizing. We got tortilla chips that looked like toasted syrian bread. I definately do not recommend it. the only thing I liked was the fried ice cream and the coke. Definately 3 thumbs down!!
