Friday

Friday was super exciting. I worked a nice long day. Met up with Liz. we ordered pizza and an appetizer sampler and watched movies... Raising Helen was actually really good. We also watched Puppetry of the Penis. Not so good. It made us both fall asleep after 20 minutes. we both woke up right at the end. Then I went home and fell asleep.

Saturday

I woke up pretty early and went to IKEA with my mom. We spent the entire day there. I got a bunch of stuff for my apartment. I got 2 fleece throws for 3.99 each!! I also got some pillows for my living room, a rug for my living room, and bunches of other things. O, and I bought my couch. My mom and I had a LITTLE trouble getting the couch into her jeep, but with the help of a nice man, we eventually stuffed it in. And we had a yummy dinner of sweedish meatballs at IKEA. Then we drove all the way home from Ikea (its in New Haven, CT, so it was quite a drive). We picked up my little brother and drove to my apartment and left the couch and rug there. Then, back to my house and off to sleep I went!!

Sunday

Sunday, I slept until 1. Then I got ready to go to Mohecan Sun casino in CT. My mom got free tickets to Rick Springfield, so I agreed to go. So, I played on the penny machines, where I won a jackpot!! lol, of pennies tho! we went to the concert which was super. Rick Springfield (sings "Jessies Girl") actually climbed into the audiance, and climbed his way right to where I was sitting. he stood in between my mom and me, dancing, and performed a few songs right next to us!! it was insane. he was pretty hot for an older guy. The concert was a lot of fun, even my mom loved it (tho i think she was hot for Rick!).
After the concert, we went back to the penny machines. I lost a little of my huge penny jackpot, but still went home winning a bit of money. wooo hooo. SUnday was a good day!!

Monday

Monday, I got up bright and early to meet up with Liz and Kathryn. They had a fun fair at work in the am, so we met at the Natick mall around 11, and did a bit of shopping. At limited, the suits I REALLY REALLY wanted (but couldnt spend 250 each on suits) were on sale. and by on sale, i mean 70 % off!!! I was so excited!! I got 2, a lite brown one with pink stripes and a grey one with pink stripes! its so cute!!
after the mall, we had lunch at the olive garden, soup salad and breadsticks!! it was so yummy. this whole working thing really screws me out of all the good lunches!!!!
after lunch, me and liz went to her house, and then headed out to do some errands. We stopped at Ocean STate Job Lot, where my favorite shampooo (the Orange got 2 be) was there. I was so excited, because I think its been discotinued, so I bought a bunch up. I also got a great deal on towels, bright yellow ones to go in my rubby ducky themed bathroom!!
We also went flower shopping and picked out some for liz's deck, then went home and planted them!!

Monday Night!

Monday Night, Liz and I went out to meet a few of the other bloggers for dinner and a movie!! We went to Chili's where we met Lauren and Krista. We had a great time chatting of yummy appetizers and margaritas. It was a blast. Then, we headed over to the movie theater to see the Amityville Horror, where Janet met us out. It was so fun meeting some of the other bloggers!! As for the movie, it scared the bajeezus out of me!!! I screamed my head off every 5 seconds. It was definately a great night and I look forward to getting together again!!

Tuesday

Well, I guess Tuesday wasnt technically part of the weekend. poo. Last night, my car alarm went off 3 times, and it kept waking me up and I had to shut it off. Luckily the remote actually works from my bedroom. I was home alone though, and had just seen that scary movie, so I was a little freaked out. And I still have no idea what was setting the alarm off (its a car I am borrowing until my car gets fixed, so I am not really familiar with it). So getting up this morning after a nice long weekend was paramount to torture!! But, alas, I got up, dressed in one of my cute new suits, drove to Dunkins and picked up a yummy chocolate banana latte, and headed off to work. Thank goodness for school vacations because I hit almost no traffic on my way into work (i left my house at 8:15 and got to work for 9. that never happens!!). Then I worked, came home, bummed around, and then I watched idol. Now I am here half watching House, and blogging away!! Yay for nice long weekends!!!
