I am so excited!! Broadway showtunes are my favorite songs on earth... lets see how all our idol contestants fair!!!

Scott Savol: Man of La Mancha. I heart that show. I love Sinatra doing the impossible dream. thats a lot to live up to!! he started really weak. flat on most of the notes in the beginning. Not very impressed, but i like the way sinatra sang it. if he was starring in man of la mancha, i may have walked out. it was on par with bad community theater.


Constantine Maroulus: My funny valentine!! another that frank sings. cant get any better than frank. eeek. hate the way he started it. he isnt bad. weird arrangement. it sounds like hes singing it while having sex. i think he would sing jazz really well.... i did like it. omg he toured with RENT!!!!!!!!! holy crap!!! (rent is my abs fav show. why the hell wouldnt he sing Rent?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! last time i saw rent Doogie Howser was in it)

Carrie Undwerwood: The King and I. nice. she looks really uncomfortable. sounds beautiful. i would see any broadway show with her in it. If she doesnt win this, she could have a broadway carreer in a second.

Vonzel Solomon- OOOO Funny Girl!! Barbara!!!!!!! wow!! she started awesome. she is so good. she is inching her way into my favorite spot

Anthony Federof- Yay!!! Sound of Music. I love this song ( I am a huge broadway junkie so humor me tonight....) it sounds likes like an elevator song, or one that you would listen to on hold. he isnt doing anything for me.... I think I hate the arrangement of the orchestra. he looks really tan. it was ok, not great. actually, i agree with simon. hideous.

Niko Smith: West Side Story. it better be good. not a strong start, sounds a bit flat. kinda boring. i really like the duet part. ended great.

Anwar: I expect a lot out of him. OMG Camelot!!!! I was seriously just humming this song. I love this song, and I am totally loving him singing it. This is definately my fav so far! I love the way he jazzed it up. I love him so much

Bo: i like pippin. saw it in college. dont know the music too well. (most of the other shows i have either done or listened to the music till my ears bleed... like rent for instance. lol) this is very musical-y. hes very not musical-y. this isnt his week. he sounds unnatural singing pippin. not his week. he should have picked something from Hair, Fame, JC Superstar, or Joseph. it would have suited him much better (Besides, i would love to see someone do "the body electric" from fame. its a great song, and he could have rocked it)

Nadia: Oliver. ooo, this a pretty song. wow. great start. she is awesome. she looks so classy. i love nadia and she gets one of my votes. that was fantastic.
